Udaan is a surge towards the open sky of love, faith, hope, courage, dignity and undying happiness...we the Youth are the foundation of the society and if the foundation remains weak, decadence is just a matter of time. Hence, to attempt to provide solutions and to firefight the imminent collapse of the future is what Udaan is all about. It’s an endeavour to help our friends recognize the beauty of life – it’s a big heart that cares for you, a small mind that understands & provides answers to your problems & questions. It is a medium to lend you a hand and show you the right path. It’s a weapon to destroy the fear deep rooted in the hearts of the youth, a ray of hope for the hopeless, a friend that shares your burdens and cares.

HISTORY

Udaan-A youth organization was founded on 12^th August’2005, International Youth Day. Over the past 4 years, Udaan- A Youth Organization, under the able guidance and mentorship of renowned counselors, has continued to bring awareness about the basic human values among the students of the city and also helped them resolve some of the most pertinent problems of our day. Udaan has covered schools and colleges and has reached out to more than 5000 students with the message of Udaan.
Started by a group of seven young friends  udaan now have more than 250 members. Udaan  decentralized its activities by  forming subteams- distributed in four major areas of jaipur. Namely : Vidhyadhar nagar, Malviya nagar, Mansarovar and vaishali nagar.Till now udaan has covered more than 50 schools and colleges and solved the  major issues students are facing these days. 

MISSION STATEMENT

 Udaan –a youth organization, works to broaden the perceptions of the youth s about life and its worth.It aims at comprehensive growth of the youth to wake up to their potential and channelize their vast reservoir of energy to bring down the insurmountable.

 VISION STATEMENT Udaan a youth organization aspires “to impact this generation positively & challenge them to live spotlessly pure lives, sustained by integrity of character and nurtured by spiritual and moral values”

It works for the four dimensional development of their personalities by focusing on the basic human values. This noble cause is unique in its own way and should be appreciated & encouraged.” 

Source of inspiration:All the activities conducted by Udaan in the last 3 years and a half were
done with the help of its benevolent and faithful supporters & Udaanmembers and friends. So far the organization has approached sponsors forspecific projects and has obtained specific amounts to meet either the total orpartial expense related to the various activities. While this approach did helpus, it has its own limitations as it does not allow long term funding.

Udaan members have been shouldering total responsibility of all programs
conducted over the last few years with their pocket money. However, we areindebted to a few people and organizations for providing us with somefinancial support. We want to extend our deepest gratitude and let themknow that without their help this would have been difficult.

OBJECTIVES OF UDAAN · 

• To create awareness among students about basic human values and principles of life.· 
• To develop an overall personality of the youth by emphasizing on sensitive and emotional intelligence.·
• To inculcate strong ethical moral and spiritual values in students.· 
• To help students learn character defining qualities like tolerance, adjustment & decision making.·
• To provide the best possible counseling to the students, 
• to help solve their problems.

Youth Development Program

:We all know that for a successful human being to be called one, he must exhibit values and Virtues. And Udaan-A Youth Organization, aims to help the students espouse such values and virtues. For about nine years, Udaan has been tirelessly working to create a forum where students can express their views, and discuss and arrive at appropriate solutions for the life challenges that bother them.

We believe that age group 15-25 is the years of a person where his ideas and opinions and character are shaped and moulded , and therefore, we not only encourage our student members to impact a change and give something to the society, but also help them with their personality development. Through its team of qualified trainers, Udaan addresses a variety of issues, such as Goal-setting, Leadership, Time Management, Communication Skills, and Relationship Building and so on. 

So far, Udaan has successfully conducted many workshops, seminars and free counselling sessions for over 10,000 people in more than 100 institutes and organization. YDP presents a compact session to discuss 7 common qualities that have been found in world’s top 500 Geniuses. And that 7 qualities are
